At Recenter Wellness, we recognize that your home is the most important setting for your health. Our mobile Occupational Therapy services focus on empowering adults to overcome physical, cognitive, or environmental barriers that interfere with their independence and quality of life.

Whether you are recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition, or proactively planning to "age in place," our OTs provide the tools and strategies needed to thrive in your own space.

CORE AREAS OF SUPPORT:

DAILY LIVING & AUTONOMY We analyze your daily routines to improve ease and safety. This includes optimizing "Activities of Daily Living" such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as complex tasks like meal preparation, housework, and community navigation.

HOME SAFETY & ACCESSIBILITY Your home should be a sanctuary, not a source of frustration. We provide comprehensive home safety assessments to identify fall risks and suggest practical modifications—ranging from simple equipment recommendations to creative layout adjustments—to ensure your environment works for you.

REHABILITATION & COGNITIVE HEALTH We support recovery through targeted fine motor coordination exercises, mobility training, and cognitive strategies. For those dealing with "brain fog," memory changes, or fatigue, we provide "Energy Conservation" techniques to help you manage your day without exhaustion.

ERGONOMICS & PRODUCTIVITY For the working professional or active hobbyist, we assess your workspace and body mechanics to prevent strain and maximize efficiency, ensuring you can remain productive and pain-free.

THE MOBILE ADVANTAGE The greatest benefit of mobile OT is the immediate application. We don’t work in a simulated gym; we work in your kitchen, your bathroom, and your workspace. By treating you in your natural environment, we ensure that every strategy we develop is practical, relevant, and ready to use the moment we leave.

At Recenter Wellness, our Occupational Therapists (OTs) partner with children and families to build the foundational skills needed for the "jobs of childhood." Because we are a mobile service, we provide therapy where life happens—at home, in school, or in the community.

In the world of a child, "occupations" are the essential activities that fill their day. Our mobile OT services focus on improving participation and independence in three main areas:

SELF-CARE Improving daily routines like toileting, dressing, and feeding.

PLAY AND SOCIAL CONNECTION Developing the skills to engage with peers and enjoy leisure activities.

LEARNING AND SCHOOL SUCCESS Mastering tools like writing, reading, and cutting, while helping the child navigate their specific learning environment.

Our therapists provide clinical expertise and practical recommendations for a wide range of developmental needs. We offer specialized support for sensory processing differences, emotional regulation, and motor skill development. We also help children who experience difficulties with executive functioning, such as planning and sequencing tasks, as well as those working on shared engagement and joint attention.

By meeting your child in their own space, we provide tailored strategies that fit seamlessly into your family’s lifestyle. This ensures that the progress made during our sessions translates directly into everyday wins for your child.

Acupuncture is a time-tested healthcare discipline rooted in traditional Chinese medicine, now widely supported by modern evidence, that involves the gentle insertion of fine, sterile needles into specific points on the body to restore balance, promote natural healing, and alleviate a variety of conditions. It effectively helps people of all ages reduce chronic and acute pain (such as back, neck, headache, migraine, arthritis, or fibromyalgia pain); manage stress, anxiety, insomnia, and digestive issues; support recovery from injuries, surgery, or stroke; ease symptoms of conditions like allergies, menstrual disorders, infertility, nausea (including chemotherapy-induced), and asthma; and enhance overall well-being by improving energy flow, circulation, and immune function. Through personalized, non-invasive treatment that stimulates the body’s own healing mechanisms, acupuncture provides safe, drug-free relief with minimal side effects, helping you feel more balanced, reduce reliance on medication, and enjoy greater comfort and vitality in daily life.
